PRICING INFO

Thanks for your interest in commissioning a painting!

Some info:

I LOVE OIL PAINT but it is very expensive and messy so all paintings are in acrylic paint unless you really want to throw me some extra cash for oil.

I specialize in portraits of pets, mileage may vary with humans but it's something I really want to get more practice doing. I'll need you to provide a reasonably hi-res reference photo. I'm most comfortable copying a photo as closely as possible BUT if you have something specific in mind and I can mock it up in Photoshop we can make it happen. Please avoid sending me AI generated photos to reference :-) I don't like that :-)

So here's pricing:

In order to keep things as fair as possible - I am distracted easily - I don't calculate my price by time spent, but rather by the size and complexity of the painting. We'll agree on something before I begin work on your painting once you send me your reference materials. Here's a jumping off point, give or take a few bucks based on complexity*:

- $2.00 per square inch of canvas + flat $25 fee for materials, including the canvas which I will take care of sourcing.

Here are some sample prices, but if you have a specific size in mind and we can find a canvas, I'm happy to do it!

5x7: $95

8x10: $185

9x12: $240

12x12: $310

11x14: $335

12x16: $410

And so on! If you want a size that isn't listed here that's totally fine as long as I can fit it in my tiny apartment :)
