In order to keep things as fair as possible - I am distracted easily - I don't calculate my price by time spent, but rather by the size and complexity of the painting. My current rate is as follows:
- $2.00 per square inch of canvas + flat $20 fee for materials, including the canvas*
Here are some sample prices, but if you have a specific size in mind and we can find a canvas, I'm happy to do it!
5x7: $90
8x10: $180
9x12: $235
12x12: $305
11x14: $330
12x16: $405
And so on! If you want a size that isn't listed here that's totally fine as long as I can fit it in my tiny apartment :)
*Please note the price above is for one portrait subject - for any additional subjects, add 25% to the price.
